Improve your use of Outlook and the Internet

Who should attend?
First time or inexperienced Outlook and Internet users who, whether they are office staff private individuals, wish to use email, contact management and research facilities efficiently and effectively.

Are there prerequisites?
Delegates will be expected to have experience of using a mouse and a keyboard and some appreciation of the implications of internet-based programs.

How is the course structured?
100% HANDS-ON TRAINING. This is a highly structured yet friendly and relaxed one-day course with an expert trainer who uses intensive training techniques to enhance the user’s experience and understanding of programs to make them more intuitive and so more approachable.

FREE: A very useful and easy to follow training manual

FREE: Workshop sessions are available the Saturday after the training (you would be expected to practice your new skills between the course and the workshop)

· Finding your way around Outlook including the toolbars, the folder list and the Inbox reading pane

· Composing and sending email with single or multiple recipients, attachments and priority settings

· Receiving, reading, replying to senders, sending to all addressees, or forwarding messages and reading and handling attachments

· Efficiently managing emails to sort by various criteria and select and move, archive or delete multiple emails, with techniques to quickly and dramatically reduce Inbox size

· An introduction to Outlook’s  Contacts and Calendar

· Explore efficient techniques to maximise your use of the internet to search, research, gather, copy and paste information, and bookmark favourite sites
